Chumaks - medieval Ukrainian traders, wich exists from IX till XIX century, before railroads appeared . They went into few-months travel all over a Europe and had to be at the same time traders, diplomats and warriors for safety of their cargo. Chumaks traveled in caravans with 100 and more carts and had elected leader.
